Nara is an Arabic-inspired coffee shop located on Calle Loíza in San Juan, that brings the traditional technique of sand coffee to a contemporary Caribbean setting. The design reinterprets this cultural tradition through a contemporary Caribbean lens, creating a dialogue between Arab heritage and Puerto Rican identity.

       The space combines fabric-inspired patterns, wood, handcrafted tiles, glass blocks, and warm earthy tones to create a rich, tactile atmosphere with an artisanal character. Layered textures and carefully crafted architectural elements evoke both the warmth of Arab interiors and the materiality of the Caribbean, transforming the coffee shop into an immersive cultural experience where tradition and contemporary design meet.
